What is braided line and what are its advantages?
Braided line is woven from multiple strands of synthetic fiber, producing a thin-diameter line with very high tensile strength and zero stretch. Advantages: tiny diameter for given strength (allows long casts, more line on the spool), zero stretch for direct hookset feedback, abrasion resistance. Pair with fluorocarbon leader for stealth in clear water.
