Bield Hunt
Pattern intelligence
for every hunt.
56 species across the 50 states — whitetail, elk, turkey, waterfowl, upland, predators, and more. Built on LiDAR terrain analysis, county parcels, public lands, and self-hosted federal infrastructure. Three seasons from now, you will know your land better than any app on the market.

What every Bield Hunt feature is held to.
Honest intelligence
Pattern features unlock as your data accumulates. When the data is not there, we say so — no invented confidence, no AI hype.
Maps you actually trust
Federal public-domain data — LiDAR, SSURGO, NOAA, USGS, NHD, NIFC — self-hosted so nothing breaks when a vendor changes pricing.
Privacy you can verify
Your hunts, sits, catches, trips, and harvests stay in your account. Your individual data is never sold, traded, or shared.
The data underneath
Built on federal data. Self-hosted so it does not break.
Most hunting apps are thin layers on someone else’s maps. Bield owns the stack — from LiDAR rasters to parcel boundaries to the patterns engine on top.

How it works
Log, build, learn. The same loop, every season.
I
Log
You record what happened. Conditions, wind, baro, time, location, and the result — auto-captured wherever possible. Empty sessions count too.
II
Build
Structure emerges. After a handful of sits or trips, Bield begins to surface the cross-references — what conditions, what places, what time of day actually produced.
III
Learn
Patterns appear. By the second season, the app speaks back: which stand for tonight, which water for this tide, which variety in this frost window. Earned, not invented.
Pattern intelligence
Patterns you can audit.
Bield never claims an insight without the sits behind it. Tap any pattern card to see the encounters and conditions that built it.
Wind signature
71% of last season on NW winds
Bield maps every sighting to the wind that brought it. Three seasons in, your stands rank for tonight against your own record.
Time-of-day
04:42 best hour · pre-rut
Movement windows by phase, by stand, by species. The 30-minute slot that earned the most encounters on your land.
Pressure trends
+0.18 in/24h favors AM
Barometer over moon. Bield separates real pressure correlations from folklore using your own catch + sit log.
Cold-front discipline
Day 1 after a 12° drop
Front passages get scored against everything you have logged after them. The patterns that survive get cards.
Mast & sign tempo
Acorn drop + 9 days
When mast hits and sign accelerates, the predictive window moves. The app tracks the cadence — not just the events.
Moon phase, audited
Only 14% lift, your land
The infamous moon-phase claim, run against your data. If it does not earn the card on your land, it does not get one.
The product
What Bield Hunt actually does.
Eight surfaces, one engine. Each one earns its place by showing you something you would not have known without it.
Logger that catches conditions
Tap once when you sit. Wind, pressure, temperature, moon, sunrise offset, and stand context auto-capture. The friction is gone.
Tonight’s stand
A ranked list of your stands for the next 12 hours — scored against the conditions you historically converted on.
Species parity
Whitetail, elk, turkey, waterfowl, upland, predators, small and big game. Each gets its own pattern engine, not a generic one.
Property mapping
LiDAR-derived terrain, county parcels, public lands, hydrography, and your own pins. Self-hosted so it does not break.
Pattern cards
Every synthesized insight comes with the sits or sightings behind it. Tap to see the receipts. No invented confidence.
Club features
Multi-property, shared logs, private intel only your group sees. The data is yours; access is your call.
Recap posters
End-of-season posters: stat cards, wind signatures, harvest commemoratives, Year-on-the-Land. Print or share.
iOS, Android, Web
Same data, same patterns, anywhere you carry it. Offline tiles for the days the signal is bad.

What Bield does differently
Three ways Bield Hunt is not like the others.
If you have tried a hunting app and bounced off, these are usually why.
Personal patterns, not Iowa models
Generic predictions are trained on someone else’s land. Bield trains on yours. The model that ranks your stands tonight is built from your past seasons.
Equal depth per species
Most hunting apps are whitetail apps with a turkey button. Bield gives elk, waterfowl, upland, and predators the same engine — not a footnote.
Barometer over moon phase
Pressure trends correlate with movement; moon phase mostly correlates with what hunters were told to believe. We rank what works on your data.

Common questions
Frequently asked.
Pulled from real conversations with hunters who tried Bield first. If your question isn't here, write us at hello@bield.app.
Almost certainly yes. Bield Hunt has species-specific features for 56 species across 8 categories — deer (7 subspecies), big game (elk, moose, caribou, pronghorn, sheep, goat, bear, alligator), turkey (all 5 subspecies), waterfowl (21 duck and goose species plus sandhill crane), upland (pheasant, quail, grouse, chukar, woodcock, dove), predators (lion, bobcat, coyote, fox), small game (squirrel, rabbit, raccoon, crow), and hogs. Every species is mapped to its legal status in every state.
No. Bield Hunt covers 56 species — deer hunters get great deer features, waterfowl hunters get great waterfowl features, turkey hunters get great turkey features. Every species is treated as first-class with its own logging categories and pattern-intelligence adaptations.
Yes. Every species in Bield is mapped to a 50-state legal-status matrix showing whether it's a general season, draw-limited, private-land-only, or not huntable in your state. We don't yet ship specific season dates or bag limits — those are roadmap items — but you'll know what's legally pursued in your state without leaving the app.
Not yet — only legal status (huntable vs not huntable, draw-limited, restricted). Specific season dates, bag limits, and weapon restrictions are on our roadmap. Until we ship those, verify regulations through your state F&W agency.
Yes. Bield's pattern engine learns universal patterns that apply across all species (wind direction, pressure trends, moon phase, time-of-day, temperature, cold fronts). It also learns species-specific patterns relevant to your pursuit — rut phases for deer, breeding peaks for turkey, migration timing for waterfowl, thermal cycles for elk, fur-bearer activity windows for predators. The patterns you see depend on what you're hunting.
Yes. Most hunters pursue multiple species across a year — deer in fall, turkey in spring, waterfowl in winter, predators year-round. Bield handles all of them in one account. Switch between species mid-hunt if needed.
No. We offer a 7-day free trial that unlocks the full app — every feature, every map, every state. After the trial, the subscription is $12.99/month or $79.99/year for a single app. Bundles are annual only — any two apps for $119.99/year, or all three for $179.99/year. We charge fairly so we don't have to sell ads or your data.
You can cancel any time after the trial. Subscriptions don't auto-renew silently — we send a renewal reminder before each charge. If you cancel within the trial window, you're not billed at all.
No. Your individual hunt data, sit logs, sightings, and harvests never leave your account. We surface aggregate signals (regional activity pulses, mast-crop reports) only from hunters who explicitly opt in, and the contributing data is anonymized at the collection layer.
All 50 states, plus DC, Alaska, and Hawaii — for maps, contours, hillshade, public lands, hydrography, and species regulations link-out. Parcel data is phased per state because licensing varies by state agency; we'd rather ship clean coverage than partial. The roadmap items on the comparison above are honest about what comes after launch.
Each state agency licenses parcel data differently — some are open public records, others require county-level agreements, some charge per-record fees. We're working through the agreements one by one. Coverage will roll out by state as we ingest the public datasets. We'd rather ship clean coverage than fake it with patchy data.
Federal public-domain data — USGS topographic basemap, USGS 3DEP lidar-derived elevation, NAIP imagery, USDA PAD-US public lands, USGS hydrography. Processed and self-hosted on our own infrastructure. No commercial map licensing fees means no watered-down resolution to save money: 20-foot contours across all 50 states, plus lidar-shaded hillshade where 3DEP has surveyed. The benches, saddles, and pinch points other apps smooth away, we render.
Yes. Logging, map, and pattern analysis all work offline. Maps download for the regions you use. Weather conditions backfill when you return to signal. You'll never lose a sit to a dead zone.
Yes. One subscription covers iOS, Android, and web — your phone, tablet, and laptop all sync to the same account. iOS and web subscriptions go through our payment provider; Android goes through Google Play. Same price across rails.
Each single app — Hunt, Fish, or Farm — is $12.99/month or $79.99/year. Same price for all three. Hunt and Fish are recreational; Farm covers a broader operational surface (soil, livestock, calendars, frost windows, food plots). We landed all three at the same rate to keep the pricing simple and let you pick by use, not by sticker.
Two bundle options. Any two apps for $119.99/year — you pick which two at checkout (Hunt + Fish, Hunt + Farm, or Fish + Farm). All three apps for $179.99/year. Both bundles are annual only — no monthly bundle rate. That's a 25% discount off two or three singles bought separately at the annual rate.
Bundles make sense if you're using more than one app across the full year — fall hunts, spring spawn, summer growing season, winter scouting. Monthly bundling wouldn't reflect how anyone actually uses these together. If you want monthly billing, subscribe to single apps individually.
The product compounds the longer you use it — features unlock at data thresholds (twenty-five sits unlocks personal weather patterns; two seasons unlocks year-over-year trends). The annual rate is the rate for hunters who plan to stay through a full season and into the next.
All observations, sits, harvests, and camera detections stay in your account. You keep everything you logged. Pattern analysis pauses until you resubscribe. Nothing is ever deleted automatically — you can also fully export and delete the account on demand.
Yes. Subscribers can export all observations, sits, and harvests as CSV at any time from the Settings screen. Your data belongs to you.
