Farm Pond Fishing
How do I know if my pond is overpopulated with small bass?
Signs of small-bass overpopulation: most caught bass are 8-12 inches, very few above 14 inches, plump bluegill (because bluegill aren't being eaten), and slow growth across the bass population. The fix is selective harvest — remove 8-12 inch bass aggressively for 2-3 years to thin the population and let surviving bass grow.
