How do I find snook in a Florida pass?
Snook concentrate at Florida pass mouths during outgoing tides, ambushing bait flushed out of bays into the surf. They hold in eddies behind structure (jetties, pilings, mangrove points), striking at passing baitfish or shrimp. Live bait, white bucktails, and topwater plugs all produce.
