How do I grow potatoes in my region?
Plant seed potatoes 2-3 weeks before last frost in trenches 4-6 inches deep, hilled up as plants grow. Hill 2-3 times during the season. Harvest new potatoes 8-10 weeks after planting; main-crop potatoes 90-120 days. Cure in dark, dry conditions before storage.
